This policy explains what information the TimPlay app and the timus.uz/timplay website handle. TimPlay is made by "TIMUS" LLC (“we”). Contact: info@timus.uz.

Summary

TimPlay does not collect personal data, has no analytics and no advertising.
No account is required. Your license key is checked on your Mac.
Diagnostic logs stay on your Mac unless you choose to send them to us.

Information stored on your Mac

Settings and recent files (file paths, playback positions) are stored in the app’s preferences on your Mac.
License key and trial record are stored in the macOS Keychain.
Diagnostic logs are written to ~/Library/Logs/TimPlay. They may contain file names and technical details about playback. They never leave your Mac automatically. If you use Help → Export Logs, TimPlay creates an archive with file and folder names hidden; you decide whether to send it to us.

Network connections made by the app

Update checks (Sparkle). Once a day, and when you choose “Check for Updates…”, TimPlay downloads the update feed from timus.uz. The request contains standard information such as your IP address and the app and macOS versions (in the User-Agent). You can turn automatic checks off.
Online subtitles (OpenSubtitles.com), only when you search for subtitles. TimPlay sends a fingerprint (hash) and size of the video file, the title parsed from the file name, and the languages you chose. If you sign in to OpenSubtitles, your username and password are sent to OpenSubtitles and the session token is stored in your Keychain. OpenSubtitles’ own privacy policy applies to these requests.
AirPlay and network shares connect only to devices and servers on your network that you choose. Network share passwords are handled by macOS.

TimPlay makes no other connections. License activation works offline.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd). Paddle collects the information needed for payment, tax and fraud prevention (for example your name, email address, country and payment details) under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so that we can deliver and support your license.

This website

The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) for security and reliability.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you (normally only purchase and support emails), and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to info@timus.uz.

We will update this page if anything changes and show the date at the top.
