Rivo RC

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 01.10.2026

Rivo RC is operated by "TIMUS" LLC.

Rivo RC has one feature that sends anything at all: “Report a problem”. This page describes exactly what that report contains, and what it never contains.

Diagnostic reports

The app offers a “Report a problem” feature. It works only when you open it, tick the consent checkbox and press “Send”. The report contains: the app version and its settings, your phone model and OS version, permission statuses, network type (Wi-Fi band, signal strength, subnet — network name and device addresses are hidden), TV brand/model and the technical responses received from it, the connection log, recent errors and performance figures.

The report never contains: passwords or PIN codes, access tokens and keys, your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) or access point address (BSSID), text you typed or dictated to the TV, clipboard contents, your contacts, location or advertising identifiers. IP and MAC addresses and serial numbers are partially hidden.

The report is sent over HTTPS to our server and forwarded from there only to our private Telegram group. The server does not store the report; the entry in the group is deleted after 90 days. You may request deletion — contact us and quote the report number.

If there is no network, the report is kept on your device for up to 7 days and sent later. You can also obtain it yourself via “Share as file”.

Crash reports and anonymous statistics

Crash reports and anonymous statistics are sent to Google Firebase and are switched on by default. They can be turned off in Settings → Privacy. No user ID is sent, and the app never reads an advertising identifier. Remote Config only reads values from Firebase; the app sends nothing there.
